Information for current and prospective members
Who are the CUG members?
CUG memberships are by site and include a significant percentage of Cray computer installations worldwide. The membership includes universities, industries, and government installations.
What are the benefits of joining?
Professional contacts with members at other sites who face similar issues can facilitate information exchange leading to critical innovations and surprising solutions. CUG conferences and workshops foster candid and constructive discussions with Cray staff, shared information among member sites regarding current experiences and projected HPC technology trends, and productive collaboration opportunities.
How much does a CUG membership cost?
The current annual fee per organization is $750. The CUG membership year is January 1— December 31.
How do I join CUG?
Any site that has a Cray computer system may join CUG. The application form is available here (roll over "Membership" in the menu above and click on the "Membership form" link). It should be sent to the CUG Office address or fax number on the form. Once the application is approved, the CUG Office will respond with a confirmation and an invoice.

CUG helps facilitate information exchange.
