Be sure to check the hotel lobbies for a selection of brochures and information. And San Francisco is just a 45-minute drive from the San Jose area. Note: If you only have time to visit one winery, the Byington Winery is the one to visit. This beautiful six-year-old Italian Villa is by far the most elegant (inside and out) of the wineries in the Bay Area. Be prepared for the winding road that takes you the last few miles to the site.
