Instructions for Preparing Publications for

CUG Conferences and Workshops

Introduction

These instructions are for authors of papers to be presented at CUG Conferences. If you have not submitted the abstract of your paper, please use the Call for Papers form to submit it. Your conference Session Chair will notify you of its acceptance.

The paper you present will be published CUG Proceedings. It will be published on our secure web server and on CD-ROM. Your cooperation in preparing your paper to accommodate our production method will help produce a timely, readable, and cost-efficient Proceedings. Please prepare and submit your paper in both camera ready (black and white laser print) and electronic format according to these guidelines.

Note: Your deadline is no later than the first day of the conference. You will need to bring your paper with you to registration where we will have a special registration desk for Speakers. We publish papers on our secure web server on a first-in, first-out basis and then produce our CD-ROM after all papers have been published on the server. Thus, you may even be able to provide attendees with your paper on line before or during the conference if you submit it at least three weeks in advance of the conference.

Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure inclusion of your paper in the Proceedings. If you have problems complying with the instructions, contact Bob Winget, Proceedings Publisher.
