To make reservations online, use the special website at the conference rates. Note that reservations made online require a credit card with an expiration date later than the start of your stay, i.e., May, 2009 or later. To make reservations by phone, call (1-800) 524-0500 and use the conference name "CUG Conference".

The Omni Hotel at CNN Center is connected to Philips Arena and the Georgia World Congress Center, and it is the nearest hotel to the Georgia Dome. For convenient arrivals or departures, Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport is a mere 15-minute commute (12 miles).

All rooms are non-smoking. If you want a room that allows smoking, make your reservation and then call the hotel to submit your request.

Our conference meeting rooms are in the hotel North Tower, but depending on which nights you need a room it may not be in the North Tower. If the online reservation system does not specifically list your room as in the North Tower, then it will be in the South Tower.

Rates are in US dollars (USD). For those whose currency is not the US dollar, here is a currency converter.

These rates do not include taxes, which are currently 15% but are subject to change. They also do not include breakfast, but we plan to provide a continental breakfast to all registered conference attendees. The rooms will be available at these rates from Friday, May 1 to Monday, May 10, three days before and after the conference.

The deadline for reservations at the conference rate is Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 5 PM local time at the hotel. After April 15 rooms are available on a space and rate availability basis. We urge you to make your reservation as early as possible.

Guest Accommodations

Each guest room includes cable television, a CD/radio/alarm clock, two telephones, voice mail, individual climate control, a coffee maker, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, and a free newspaper (on weekdays). (details)

Free wireless internet will be available in the hotel lobby and in the conference rooms. Free wireless and wired internet will be available in your guest room if you are an Omni Select Guest member. Free membership is available online.

Hotel guests have free access to the on-site health club. The hotel provides the following services on site: business center (open 7 AM to 7 PM daily), ATM, salon, check cashing, currency exchange, dry cleaning and laundry service, coffee shop, 24-hour in-room dining, postal services, safe deposit box, shoe shining, and translation services. Parking

The only parking available at the hotel is valet parking. It is enclosed and includes in/out privileges. The rate is $30 per day.

Public Transportation

To avoid parking fees, consider a taxi or public transportation. The hotel is connected to the W1 subway stop. Plenty of restaurants and attractions are within walking distance, so a car is not necessary. See the local arrangements page for more information.
